AXIAL PISTON INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE WITH SWINGING BLOCK OF CARDAN SUSPENSIONS

Axial engine with small maximum cross-section, high torque, high specific power, and economical.

Essence of the invention is the construction of the engine according to the layout of the cylinder piston groups along the rotation axis of the drive shaft, with the transfer of the piston translation energy to the shaft by means of a swinging block of cardan suspensions connected to the cylinders by connecting rods. The inclination angle of the axial block can exceed 45 degrees, which provides high efficiency of the mechanism. Cardan suspensions provide an excellent distribution of loads, minimum friction resistance, high stability of the axial device, long life. Cylinder piston groups have pumping chambers for filling a built-in receiver with compressed air. Active blowing of the cylinders with compressed air at the time of gas exhaust allows to provide a two-stroke engine operation scheme and apply various types of fuel, including diesel.
