Airplane for Civil Airlines

  • The fuselage has a reduced cross section, which reduces drag.
  • The engines and fuselage are mounted on pylons, which increases the wing area and reduces their span, and also due to this, the weight and overall dimensions of the aircraft are reduced.
  • The pylon houses built-in ballistic parachute recovery system for the aircraft.
  • Compact fuselage with side and rear convenient sliding door.
  • The aircraft has a landing gear with non-retractable front and rear struts of the risor type, excluding failures of the gas-oil system of the landing gear, with gas-oil shock absorbers.
  • Rudder horn compensation helps the pilot reduce pressure on the controls. It also has weight compensation.
  • The layout of the aircraft provides comfortable access and location of the crew in the cockpit, good visibility in working directions.
  • In the cargo version, the compartment is closed with a fairing, under which it is possible to place and transport cargo, equipment for chemical work equipment for monitoring tasks. The cargo area can be expanded with two rear seats.
  • The fuel tanks are located in each wing with two fillers, between the engine pylon and the aircraft pylon.

General information about the aircraft

Operating experience has shown the effectiveness of using the aircraft of this scheme on the AHR.

Two engines are mounted on the center section so that in case of failure of one of the engines, the effectiveness of the control surfaces provides sufficient controllability of the aircraft, and the power reserve of one engine is enough to continue the flight. This makes it possible to improve flight safety, in particular, to use the aircraft for the transport of passengers when re-equipped for the chemical processing of rice fields and forests.

Efficient airflow of the wing with propellers allows you to reduce takeoff speed and reduce takeoff distance.

The layout of the aircraft provides for the requirements of “passive safety” for the pilot in emergency situations due to the load-bearing frame of the cockpit made of composite materials, the installation of engines in front of the cockpit on the center section mounted on the pylon, the placement of fuel tanks in the center section under the cockpit, and the use of reliable fastening of four-point seat belts .

In this model of the aircraft, the power set of the fuselage structure will be changed, which allows the crew members to be more comfortable in the cockpit. The design of the rudder has been changed, weight compensators have been installed instead of horn aerodynamic compensation. The attachment points of the stabilizer to the tail boom and the tail booms themselves have been reinforced. The wing has new wingtips.

Civil multi-purpose aircraft “STOL” belongs to the class of light civil aircraft of the normal category of general aviation. When designing the aircraft, the requirements of the airworthiness standards AP-23 and FAR-23 were taken into account.

“STOL” is a 10-12 seat aircraft with a trapezoidal, monocoque wing, docking of both planes occurs in the center section pylon, 6-8 cylinder lycoing engine, spring type landing gear with freely orientable front pillar, separate braking of the left right drums.
